I think that's the logic behind it. If it is on the skin, it can seep into the fruit.
I was eating tons of yeast-containing foods for a long time without even realizing they had yeast in them! Grapes especially. I love my grapes, so that's a hard one for me. More difficult than the no-sugar rule (i haven't had sugar cravings at all!!)
Basically I will slowly introduce individual items back into my diet once I have been eating this way for over 30 days, but will still have to be careful not to eat too much of them. I'll be introducing honey back into my diet first, as my tea tastes bland without it.
