I'm not on a
zero carbohydrate diet. I typically take in 10-15 simple carbohydrates a day and 20-25 of dietary fiber.
I do feel a little lethargic on this diet, but, since I've been taking good multi-vitamins and using salt (sparingly) as a source of electrolytes, I feel okay actually. Oh, and the black coffee I have in the morning doesn't hurt either.
I have enough energy to keep going through my entire work-out. Don't get me wrong, I'm definitely beat by the team I leave the gym .
