Thanks for the advise, everyone I definitely ought to slow down my eating. And I do drink lots of water and I love almonds. The one thing I've been trying to do is eat porridge before I eat anything else. It's healthy, cheap and even though I don't like it, it keeps me from eating huge amounts something not quite so healthy. I think it's a good start.
