Have you tried to eat like a low cal yogurt at night? I do find if I am having a bad sugar craving that most of the time that will work.

More protein and less carbs is diffently better for you. With the bread to you eat whole grain or just reg bread. You might want to change to a low carb bread it does take a little getting used to but its good after a while lol
