I have a huge emotional connection to food. Stress, depression, celebration - all eating triggers, although different emotions tend to trigger different types of food. Ironically, I am very rational in the rest of my life. But completely irrational about food.
I know that when I can keep myself on an eating plan that regulates my blood sugar, the emotional eating is much easier to manage. I just need to figure out how to change my eating habits for good.
