That is what I try to do, but I tend to forget to eat alot of the time. I dont really have an appetite. I havent had one since I had my son 14 years ago. I had to be reminded to eat when I was preggers with my daughter. When the kids were little it was easier to remember because I just ate when they did. But now they are teens and pretty much take care of themselves. I try to keep small healthy snacks in my purse so I have something when I'm out and about, but there are some days I eat about 500-800 calories because I've skipped eating so much. But I am getting better plus my friends and boyfriend have started reminding me to eat and asking me if I have eaten that day....sometimes it is kind of funny.
