| Re: Chocolate and Stevia Agave syrup is organic and from the agave plant in mexico. It doesn't behave like normal sugar as it has a GI of 11! No insulin spike but it's completely natural and tastes like maple syrup. Don't go overboard - obviously, but it's great to sweeten porridge or use in cooking, (I make blueberry pancakes with buckwheat flakes, agave syrup, eggs, millk and brown rice flour - yummy!). |
