| Werd Found this site when surfing during lunch at work.....great site and great tips from everyone....I just started a diet 9 days ago and have lost 7 lbs the 1st week. I have just been logging the calories of what I eat and keeping it between 1700-2000 per day. I am a 31-yr-old male, 5'9" and weigh 320 lbs. I don't currently exercise because my wife works nights and I have 3 kids which I can't take out in the cold weather to walk with me.....BUT.....my mom & sis just pitched in to help me buy a treadmill which I will begin using when it is delivered. I am obese due to lack of exercise, eating poorly and drinking too much beer from 1996-2005, which I quit altogether. I wasn't always big, I rode a skateboard for 8 yrs and weighed 170 lbs when I was 15....so I am eating healthy unprocessed foods now and drinking about 3L of water a day to attain that weight again by August '09.
