Proteins and water will be my new friends. Sugar and bread will be former friends. (Veggies/Fruit and my tummy are a little hard to digest.). So like the girl, Aly, who tolerated carbs and sugary foods better cause of lap band, I too even without lap band, turn to carbs when my stomach condition worsens. Funny how my tummy seems to be able to digest that stuff no matter what, but in the long run, it isn't good for my tummy or me.

So I'm changing my diet and getting my walking sneakers out of the closet. Water, protein mostly and exercise seem to be my fate. Looking for support in the group as I am single/live alone and while I have friends who support me, they haven't lived it..

If you have to eat carbs, maybe you can try focusing on the healthier whole grain carbs? I know fiber doesn't agree with you, but in moderation maybe you could stomach it?

I agree protein and water are two HUGE keys to success, and most people don't have enough of both. What exactly do you eat on an average day?
