DRUM ROLL PLEASE...I have avoided for the scale for 2 weeks now, weighed myself yesterday and am down 9 lbs!!!!!

WOW! I have always approached weight loss by exercise and not really paying much attention to calories, and have always failed - so I've switched things up and am now counting calories (not starving myself) - just keeping a log on my PC and refering to it after meals so that I know what I have left for the rest of the day.(People, we eat WAY TOO MUCH FOOD IN OUR SOCIETY) I'm eating much healthier - lean meats, salmon, tuna, fresh veggies, I even treated myself to chocolate ice cream (1/4 cup=65 calories), my crazy food cravings are GONE!, I feel like I have 3 times the energy I did just 2 weeks ago, my skin looks and feels better - I could go on and on. This is the way to go, simple science - calories in vs. calories out. If you have a daily deficit, the weight WILL COME OFF!
