In order to do that you're going to need to setup a deficit of 1000 calories a day on average. One question I have is how intense is your exercising? Are we talking walking? Running? Cardio? Weightlifting?????
By my calculations you should shoot for eating 1450 calories a day on average in addition to your exercise if you're doing low intensity exercise, but if it's truly high intensity exercise then you should shoot for eating 1730 calories a day. This should get you to your goal weight by June! |
I walk on a gazelle for 45 min. to 1 hr. almost every day. I wouldn't say that it is very intense. I usually walk an average of 3.0 - 4.0 mph and about 2 miles.
Thank you so much for taking the time to calculate that for me. I was guessing around 1200 calories, so 1450 sounds better. I'm going to try it for a while and see how it goes. I don't know if I can be disciplined enough to count calories or not, but I do want to look good when I go on vacation. We are going to Universal Studios and to visit old friends that we haven't seen in a while. I want to look and feel my best.
Thanks again!
