Warm Cranberry Compote

Warm Cranberry Compote

Serves 6
One and one half 5 A Day servings
Source: Produce for Better Health/Ocean Spray Cranberries

Ingredients

2 cups Cranberries, fresh or frozen
3 cups Pineapple chunks, cut in half
1 cup Brown sugar
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/4 tsp Nutmeg

Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan. Bring mixture to a boil and cook just until the cranberries begin to pop, stirring frequently. Cool slightly. Spoon into bowls and top with frozen yogurt, if desired.

Nutritional analysis per serving: Calories 192, Fat 0g, Calories from Fat 2%, Cholesterol 0mg, Fiber 2g, Sodium 12 mg.
