Intervals:
Jogged @ 6.5mph .5 minutes
Ran @ 8.5mph .5 minutes
Walked @ 4.0mph 1 minute

Lather, rinse, repeat.

My intervals were 2 minutes long, and I ended up doing 13 of them.

After that I was feeling not too bad, so I ran at 7.5 for a minute, and then upped it 8.0 right away, but could only do half a minute before I felt like I was going to die.

I have come to the realization that no matter how hard I workout, it's not going to make any difference if my eating isn't on track. My fiance and I have been way more lax about the meals lately, and I haven't been grocery shopping for a while, so I've been grabbing 'whatever' for lunch etc.

I started counting calories again this morning *sigh*. I really didn't want to, but it's a necessity if I want to loose my last bit of weight, and I'd like to loose half of it before the wedding I'm attending at the beginning of February.

I know how to eat and maintain my weight without counting calories, now I just need to get to that maintain weight.

I should go get ready though, I'm going to the gym with my workout buddy in about half an hour

Getting healthy is more eating than exercise, so it's good you started counting calories again....

I used to be a workout/exercise nut in highschool and my first semester in college since I played sports competitively, but ate like crap. Cold turkey I started eating right and I got noticeably stronger and leaner so fast it was scary. I've been eating healthy ever since and won't look back. Your exercise habits have been really good lately, so hopefully once you combine it with healthy eating again you too won't look back. Good luck Audrey!
