| Re: Top 10 Reasons why I'm sick of being fat! Wow! That sounds like I wrote that list for myself. Sounds like you are pretty bummed out right now about your weight. Things will get better. My highest weight was 220, and I got down to 179, but now I'm back up to 185. Once you get motivated and start losing the weight, you'll feel much better and your confidence will return. I was the same way you were. I didn't want to leave my house for a while. I'm still pretty chunky, but I feel much better than I did. Exericising has given me so much more energy. I have a gazelle that sits in front of my tv in the bedroom and I walk on it for an hour every evening after my husband gets home from work so that he can watch the kids. Of course, it is getting a little rusty since I haven't used it for a couple weeks because of the holidays. I hope to get back into the routine of things soon though.
I know exactly what you mean about clothes shopping! Most of these stores think that every women is 5'10" tall and weighs 110 pounds. I've seen size extra larges that wouldn't even fit my 10 year old daughter. It doesn't help that my waist line is 32" and my hips are 45"! My mom and I went in American Eagle while Christmas shopping for my 22 year old sister, and my mom made the comment that she had dish towels that looked better than some of the clothing in there. I found that pretty amusing because I was thinking that some of the material didn't look like it would hold up through one washing. I guess that means I'm getting old since I'm starting to think like my mother. Okay, I'm getting off track. I'll shut up now. Just wanted to let you know that I, along with a lot of people, feel the same way. Keep a positive attitude and don't give up, and things will get better. I keep telling myself that every day, and I'm actually starting to believe it, lol. Good luck!
