Yes swimming and light walking is good like Chazzy said, and so is lifting light weights like dumbbells! I have also seen people get a great workout from hand bikes if you can find them as well.
Sometimes posting here every day can help with that motivation....a lot of people do that and it seems to keep them on track. Writing down the food you eat is also another way to hold yourself accountable and visually remind yourself to slow down.
