If you want to lose 1lb a week, you should shoot for eating about 1860 calories a day, and if you want to lose 2lbs a week you should shoot for eating 1360 calories a day. 1.5lbs a week would be 1610 calories a day. Now you don't have to eat exactly this every day, but this is just an average you should try to shoot for over the long run to achieve whatever goals you set for yourself.
