Obesity surgery is VERY pricey here. In fact a lot of people are now going to other countries to have it done because it costs so much here. However, being that the British Pound is doing so well compared to the US dollar, I wonder if you'd be better off converting your Pounds to Dollars and having it done here. I remember about 8 years ago the exchage rate was 1 Pound=1.6 US Dollars. Now it's more like 1 Pound = 2.06 US Dollars.
