Could you give us an idea of what your eating habits are like on an average day? I'd be curious to see what you're starting from. [/quote
I started eating small meals throughout the day, I eat a muscle milk bar in the morning along with apple juice, then at 9 am I eat an ostrich stick, then at 11 am I eat half a muscle milk bar then again at 1 pm I eat the other half then around 3 I eat another ostrich stick, then at 5 lift weights come home and walk for 2 miles, then find something healthy for dinner. This is a beginning as far as diet goes the excercise I have been doing for awhile. |
So all you're eating are 2 muscle milk bars a day, 2 ostrich stick bars, and then dinner? Your calorie levels like Audrey said do seem a bit low for someone of your stature who is also lifting weights and walking. Are you getting any carbs in your diet at all other than the sugar in the muscle milk bar? I think your eating routine could use a little adjusting but it's really not as bad as you may think. I would probably shoot to add some more protein and carbs in your diet.
Just curious, what are some examples of what you eat for an entire dinner? How much water are you drinking throughout the day?
