Today I've had:
8 a.m.: 2 cups of coffee, 1 w/ coffeemate, 1 black (before breakfast)
Breakfast: 2 soft boiled eggs
6oz glass of orange juice
16oz bottle of water
1 multi-vitamin
Lunch: 1 medium apple
16oz bottle of water
Dinner: 1 small cheeseburger (already fixed for me when I got home )
no mayo or anything, just cheese
1 cup coffee with cream
1 can diet coke (already waiting for me )
Now I'm working on my third bottle of water. I guess that's not too awful bad so far.... My real problem will be about midnight. I'm a bit of a night owl and I seem to get hungry in the middle of the night. That's when my willpower does me wrong...
Also, if the husband has dinner waiting on me when I get home, I feel like an a$$ if I tell him I'm not eating what he cooked. I try to eat smaller portions, but I can't be outright rude to him...
So what do you think? |
Great calorie total for yesterday! Have you talked to hubby about your weight loss efforts? Maybe you could tell him he doesn't need to cook for you for a while because of your new eating program? It's awesome that he's trying to be nice, so you don't want him to be insulted of course.
If you have to eat something late at night, try a low calorie protein shake! That's one of those great late night snack....I also like to eat nothing but protein at night since protein fills me up better than carbs. I eat very low fat cheeses, some beef jerky, a few slices of ham/turkey, etc.
