Bagels are usally pretty high in calories as I'm sure you are aware.....regarding protein fish/seafood is great, so is chicken, and if you're OK with it, lean pork. Maybe a protein shake would be a good addition to your daily regimen. Soy, nuts and milk are good for a little extra protein as well.
Something you may want to consider later on doing is keeping track of the calories in the food you are eating. That way you can actually determine if you are eating the right amount of food in order to achieve your weight loss goals.
