The type of rice you eat can have an impact. There was a good thread a while back that covered the glycemic index of various types of rice. It's a good way for you to eat rice that takes longer to process, thus making you feel fuller longer.
I think you're on a great regimen! The only thing I didn't see a mention of is protein.....how much are you eating a day?
