I've been doing a bit of research on losing weight during exercising and from what I can ascertain the optimum time to burn fat fat is after the first fifteen minutes which for want of a better technical term is basically a warming up period. Therefore I have been trying to up my walking from 60mins a day to 75 mins figuring that I am likely to expend 33% more fat for only 25% more effort in these final fifteen mins. If I'm walking at approx 4.5 miles an hour I'm expending approximately 550 calories an hour of which I've learnt approximately 50% is body fat. That works out as 275 calories in that last hour which if I've converted my metrics back to imperials right should be 1.08 oz.
OK whats wrong with my theory, everything else being equal
