A happy diet....that would be so great, but I guess it is just a dream... Unfortunately I haven't bought the book yet, but probalby you can't bake these sweet stuff all the time, can you? Because by having cake (although if it is from this book)it isn't possible to lose 5pounds in three weeks, is it? By the way congratulations! |
Having cake or muffins a lot, heavens, no...but an occasional no-sugar sweet is what keeps my problem with diet boredom and cravings at bay. Actually the surprise in this book is medical information that I never knew. Last night I re-read the "Amazing facts about your Heart and Blood Sugar" section. There are long, wonderful sections of medical information.
The occasional no sugar no fat sweets are the bonus. What the book calls "the diet's engine." I was also amazed to discover that 1 tablespoon of unsweetened non-alkalinized cocoa contains 4,000 antioxidants. Double that of dark chocolate, without the fat and sugar.
That's why I love this book. The authors are often funny, btw.
Thanks for the congratulations. I'm really happy. Take care of you!
