Audrey, my shoes aren't very old. Well, they are, they're just not all that used. I wore them for maybe a month when I first got them but then stuck them in the closet. They're just regular running sneakers. They do fine on the treadmill, but it seems the elliptical, like for you, it's kicking my butt. I just won't be able to put down the cash for a new pair for at least another week, so I'll have to live with it for now. |
If you can pull that off exercise wise, you're going to burn a little more than 2700 calories a day on average (at a minimum). If you exercise like that and eat about 2200 calories a day, you'll lose about 1lb a week, maybe slightly more. That will should get you right at your goal.
Maybe start off with that and see how it goes, and you can adjust as you see fit. Maybe later drop it down to 1950 calories a day to speed things up to lose 1.5lbs a week, maybe even 1700 a day if you want to get aggressive and shoot for a 2lb a week loss. The choice is yours!
