I think lower fat foods are a lot tastier these days than when I was growing up. To play devil's advocate, if the kids only got healthy food, they wouldn't know any better and wouldn't refuse to eat it as much. You'd want to start them eating healthy early though. You can't feed them junk food until they're 12 and expect them to convert into a health junky cold-turkey.
