I'm going to try just counting calories - between 1,200-1,600 calories a day. I'm also going to do Walk Away The Pounds dvd's, since I have quite a collection. My timeframe... I'd like to be close to my goal by my 23rd birthday (February 6th of 2009), if not already there.
When I was 14/15, I lost 50 pounds in 4-5 months, so I know I can do this. I just need to find that drive again that I had before. Then, it was I was close to 200 pounds and didn't want to reach that... now, I'm close to 300... and it's the same thing. I can't reach that, that number terrifies me. |
That's about 10lbs a month, which is a fairly agressive goal.....about 2.25lbs per week....but you've done it before, so no reason why you can't do it again, right? That means you're going to need to, on average each day consume 1125 calories less than your body is burning. If you want I can help you narrow down exactly how many calories you want to average eating per day over the long run to achieve your goals. If you do in fact exercise as much as you say you will, then the calories you listed above will get you pretty close to your goals.
