Ok so I am here because I figured I should just shout to the world my weight since my husband doesn't even know how much I weigh, ... lol. I am 5'7" tall with a medium body frame. On July 17 I went to my Dr. and told him that I was tired of being obese and hated that I couldn't play with my son for more than a few minutes without feeling completely exhausted. I want to be around for him throughout his life as long as I can. So they checked me out and did bloodwork on me to see if part of it was due to my thyroid. Turns out it's not, I just have a borderline overactive thyroid with an extremely slow metabolism. Dr. gave me Adipex (phentermine) to boost my metabolism and supress my appetite to help me out with diet and exercise since that alone did nothing for me. Well I started out on July 18th and weighed 267lbs. I now after nearly 3months of help from the doctor along with diet and exercise have lost 34lbs. I am down to 233lbs and dropped 2 pants sizes and went from a BMI of 41.8 to 36.5 and from a level 3 obesity to level 2!! I feel amazing at this point and am just looking for that little extra push to help me out when I'm feeling down.
