Well I am going to get the surgery to remove the excess skin and flab off my tummy that just wont go away. He was really happy with my weight loss this summer. So he has sent in for approval from my insurance company.

Since he got all my medical records he desided not to reconstruct my tummy muscles he said with my lung problems and the fact that I had congestive heart and lung failure back in 1999 that I would be under to long to make it worth the risk.

Now for the bad news the extra weigtloss made him able to feel a large hernia I didnt know I had. its in above my belly button on the right side and is as large as my hand or bigger he said. And I have big hands for a woman. I did ask him if I should get that fixed first and he said no. That getting rid of the excess would make it easier to deal with the hernia. But I intend to talk to my family doctor about it when I see him next week.

So that means 2 surgerys for me this winter YUCK!

I will keep everyone updated on the approval and when the surgery will be.
I know for the skin removal I will be in the hospital for overnight or maybe 2 nights depending on how well I do. If I am in any longer then that I will have hubby bring me my laptop ( cant have computer withdrawls lol ).
But the surgery more then likely wont happen until at least the first 2 weeks in Nov. He said recovery time is different for everyone but I will have drains in for about 2 weeks or so. So that wont be to bad.

That means I will ask for new clothes from Santa cause nothing I have will stay on me after that lol.
