Child obesity symposium at NOSM

The Northern Ontario School of Medicine (NOSM) is holding its March symposium Thursday where Dr. Brain McCrindle will speak about the pediatric obesity epidemic, its consequences and strategies.

McCrindle is a professor of pediatrics at the University of Toronto and a staff cardiologist at the Hospital for Sick Children.

The symposium is in room 107 at the NOSM's East Campus at Laurentian University. Seating is limited. Phone Sherry Carlucci at 662-7257 to reserve a seat. A live webcast can also be viewed at www.normed.ca.
