Reduced Size Clothing Tips

I have been trying to get some new clothes, since my 48s are looking horrible and baggy on my new size 42 body.

So, I tried alteration. Big waste. They adjust your waist, but then the pockets end up way back, and the pant legs are still Talking Heads huge.

Next, I tried Goodwill. Three separate Saturdays, and I couldn't find anything that was not Golf Course 80 year old man material.

But then, I got desperate one day, and went on a Monday. Holy Selections Batman! It seems they load up on Monday, and the stuff dwindles during the week. Pre-cleaned and pressed, I got better clothes than I wore to the office, for 4 bucks a pair, and even some jeans that look well used like they are supposed to.

Some are even suit pants, with a silk interior lining! It feels the closest a man can come to wearing pantyhose without needing to see a shrink afterward!

So, tip of the day is, don't waste the time with alterations when you can get better quality, newer, and better-fitting clothes for less money just buying used. Find out when they restock the used clothing store, and you are all set!

Lose weight without fear, because it will mean a clothing upgrade!
Oh, and if I choose to buy new, 42-32 is in the upper range of the regular sizes, so no more paying double the price at the "Big and Tall" stores.

So, I was told that I was 100 pounds overweight. My two kids combined didn't weigh 100 pounds. So, I dropped EVERYTHING from my mouth except for the basics, and ate slower, and 40 of the 100 is gone! And I did it without paying for some "program", just the classic cutting calories method. Sometimes, the simplest way is the best way.
