I'm a big fan of the 'moisture wicking' synthetic materials. They're light weight and don't absorb the sweat and become a big, heavy, wet towel like the all cotton T-shirts. I guess this is only an issue if you tend to perspire heavily which I do, especially during cardio. I also like the shirts to be sleeveless and not too big. I prefer knee length gym shorts over pants, they're just too hot.
