What they did not tell me: Almost everthing.

After surgery I spemt 10 days in the hospital- to return 21 days later for a 5 week stay. I had a lung absess, needed surgery to remove it and was on a vent for 2 weeks in the ICU. I lost half of my hair (since regrown).

I developed th stricture at the end of the new stomach. I have to get it stretched every few months. It caused reflux, vomiting and tooth loss. I now wear dentures. The reflux also caused adult onset asthma.

I have severe osteoporosis - despite the vitamins and calcium supplements And the usual treatments are contraindicated because of gastric size. I am supposed to get the shot BUT its $16,000 per year and my insurance, if I would be approved, has a $2,000 co-pay. It has attacked my spine and I have 4 areas in the spine with decalcification.

I have had several bouts with anemia. I had to have trnasfusions 4 times in the past years.

I still need some skin removed- not as much as one would think because I did exercise. That was key.

I wish someone would make an UNSWEET protein supplement.

I get livid with people who think this was the easy way to lose weight.
