I quit smoking 100 days ago and I believe it's the forum I joined that helped me so much, so here I am. I think sometimes being with others of the same can help.
You have permission to kick my @SS if I confess of falling off and keep me going. I have been walking 2 miles most days, but with fall around the corner, I'm concerned I'll back off when the rain sets in (North West).
I am on Weight Watchers and started before I quit so I would have a few pounds off, it worked I lost 25 pounds before I quit and have gained 10 back, so I was at 325 and a smoker, yep death around the corner.
If anyone wants some pointers on smoking, I'll help if I can, all I can say is after 35 years of smoking, I now free and clear!
I hope I can offer support to others in need and hope to learn some new stuff on here.
Thanks for having me...

You stopped smoking, wow, how great is that! Now you are going to tackle the weight issue. You are well on your way to becoming healthy. You have come to the right place for support and education. As we all know, we have to change our lifestyles, not just what and how much we eat. You seem really determined, and your determination rubs off on the rest of us. When you hit a plateau, our determination and caring will be their to spur you on. This is a win, win situation! Good going, and good luck!
