I have embarked on a low calorie liquid diet which I hope to sustain for 2 weeks before weaning myself back on to small, 3-400 calorie meals.

My problem is mainly that I hate food preparation and I have a lack of imagination where food choices are concerned. So I end up eating fast food, microwave meals, sandwiches, etc. Stuff I can just throw together in 5 mins or less and eat on the fly.

I also have some emotional attachments to eating out or getting treats while I'm out. It was always my big "let's do something special" thing. It's hard not to stop and get something when I am out shopping or whatever.

Anyway that's me. I hope not to whine around here too much

Welcome to the crew! When you say liquid diet, do you mean liquid protein diet? What exactly are you consuming?

Half of my meals consist of microwaveable foods and sandwiches, and there are plenty of healthy options there.

As far as imagination goes, have you tried fishing through some healthy recipes?
