Well i wanted to know have you taken this diet pill or known anyone who has and did it work? I try doing 300 crunches before bed and walk with my dogs and stuff |
Welcome to the site! The pill you are taking is a basic appetite suppressant, so in theory you should not have the urge to eat as much. However, my understanding is this is a pill that you don't want to take long term. Diethylpropion is habit forming. You can become physically and psychologically dependent on this medication. I am sure you are aware that Diethylpropion is meant to be used as a short-term supplement to diet and exercise in the treatment of obesity. I saw that you were walking your dog and doing cruches, and while those activities do burn calories, they do not burn very much. If you have the resources and are physicially capable, getting your heart rate up a little more and pushing yourself a little harder with exercise will help you achieve your goals sooner. But by no means should you stop walking the dogs and doing crunches if that is all you can do.
However, I would not eat less than 1000 calories a day, as that is borderline starvation. The pill itself won't cause you to lose 4lbs a week, in theory it should make you want to eat less, which will cause you to consume less calories, which in turn will cause you to lose weight. At the end of the day it's the amount of calories you eat that will cause you to lose weight.
You can eat more calories a day, like 1200 or so and still lose a lot of weight and not feel like you're starving as much.
There is a general consensus that healthy weight loss is not much more than 2lbs a week.
Can you give an example of exactly what you eat in a given day?
