I am a CU(Bank Rep) and I'm on the road most of the time, much of that time is entertaining clients. Not easy to do, but I know it can be done. I collect wine, but don't drink a bunch of it, the wife and I normally open a bottle on Friday night. So in a nut shell, I drive a lot, must eat 20 to 30 meals a month in a restaurant.
I know what to do, but have to do it when I'm on the road. Working out on the road these days are pretty easy as most of the places I stay have nice work out areas.
As far as home, we do have a treadmill and I just got back into playing drums and the I've been playing 45 minutes to an hour every night when I'm home.
I don't believe there are any secrets to the game, simply put, I have to do it. I have to live it and change the patterns and habits I have developed over the years.
So, there you have it.

travelling and entertaining clients is very difficult. i know OD can attest to this as he travels all the time for work if i remember.
one of his secrets is to bring protein bars and other portable health foods including protein bars and protein shakes with him, so he can fill up on that instead of restaurant food.
