OK, athenamor on the smoking. First I wanted to quit, I set a date 6 months before I did and worked toward it. I started doing some studying on success and what was working. I then found out about Chantix which is a new stop smoking aid, some say magic, but I don't. It is still hard, but it does help a lot. If you can quit and your husband still smokes around you, more power to you. If he doesn't want to quit or you don't want to quit, you probably won't. I knew I needed to, but didn't really want to until this time, so I'm sure that has a bunch to do with the success. I would say this, I quit in May and I still don't consider myself a non smoker, I'm just a butt away from being a smoker again. I'm kind of looking at it as a 12 step, I will always be a smoker, I'm just not choosing to smoke now. I will say, it is and was the hardest thing I have ever done was stop...
Good luck, check out their web site and if you think it will help, call your Dr and see if you can get it.
