Question about low carb...does calorie and fat intake important? Do you track how much calories you eat and keep everything low carb?

At the end of the day you need to track what you eat calorie-wise because you can eat low carb food all you want, but if you are consuming more calories than you burn on a normal day, you're going to gain weight and not lose weight.

The most important thing to keep track of is how many calories you burn each day comapred to how many you consume each day. You do however want to keep an eye on the break down of carbs vs. protein vs. fats as well......one needs to be careful because some low carb recipes are very high in saturated fats.
