Well some very generic tips I have seen on here include eating your food much slower than normal and taking your time. When you eat too fast your brain does not realize you are full until after you are very far past being full.
Drink a lot of water. Shoot for a gallon a day if you can. This will also help make you feel a little full while flushing your system a bit.
Drop the sugar and fried stuff. No fast food, avoid eating out in general unless you only order the healthy items on the menu.
Some people here put a picture of themself looking their worst and their best on the refrigerator so they look at that as motivation not to open the refrigerator.
