The problem is I dont know where to start, I work out a bit but nothing is on schedule. I own a tredmill and i Just wanted to know how i can start losing weight. What would be great if there was a plan I could stick to or a schedule for work outs that i can do.

Kris first and foremost, welcome to the site!

Losing weight is easier than you think. At the end of the day it's a matter of eat fewer calories than your body uses (burns). This is called a calorie deficit.

Exercise makes it easier to maintain a deficit since it burns some of the calroies you eat.

A good start would be to consistently exercise. If you can run on a treadmill without discomfort (joint pain, back pain, etc), then that would be great for you. The more you use it the more calories you will burn. I would try to set a schedule for you to exercise on the treadmill, working your way up to where you can hit the treadmill at least for 30 minutes straight at a good pace. You may not be able to go fast at first, and that is fine, but you should keep pushing yourself and turning up the resistance/speed as you get in better shape. I would start at 30 minutes at a pace that keeps your heart rate up.

It would help to know more about your eating habits, so if you could tell us what you eat in a given day (normally), we can find room for improvment.

If you are really looking for a specific food plan, we can show you how to make your own plan that will allow you to lose weight at a rate that you choose.
