Welcome! One thing that will make you feel like you're eating a tiny bit of food is your protein/carb/fat split. I use calorie-count.com to measure my daily intake and also evaluate that split. While not wanting to be too crazy at this stage the key is that proteins and carbs are 4 calories per 1g, fat is 9 calories per 1g. So if you eat more protein and good carbs you'll be able to eat over twice as much food at 1500 cals vs a more fat rich diet. You might be suprised at your protein/carb/fat split, I know inlove was.
