What is wrong if watching what you eat, and exercising with no weight loss?

Just curious. What would that mean? If you are doing everything you should and it does not come off. I am paronoid actually. To be honest I fear that on Monday I wil weigh myself and it will not be less. And with all that I am doing and watching how I eat I don't see how that would be possible.
